We all know there are good people and bad people in everything. A little gesture sometimes can go a long way. I was buying coffee this morning. As I was walking to my car, I notice a police officer getting out of his car. He was probably going to get some coffee himself. I saw him and he saw me. Without thinking, I tip my cap to him and he just gave me a nod. Nothing else was said and I just got in my car and left. That little gesture I am sure he appreciated because police officers are still human beings. They know whats going on in the country. Tipping my cap to him may not be a big deal but at least I hope I sent him a message that I don’t believe all cops are bad and I do appreciate the work they do. I know there still need to be changes but let’s start by softening the anger.
PS, Protesters, please do not go and burn down my local coffee shop.
