Day 28-Golf between games…

I was watching Michael Jordan’s “The Last Dance” last night and here is one thing that bothers me. In the episode, they followed Jordan playing the Celtics in the 1986 playoffs. I am sure a lot of people out there were scratching their heads on this. Why was Jordan and Danny Ainge playing golf together before game 2 of the playoffs? I don’t care who calls who to play golf but the fact that Jordan agrees to even play golf with Ainge makes me question his competitiveness a bit. Jordan’s Bulls just lost by 19 points in game 1!!! Shouldn’t he be upset and doesn’t want anything to do with the other team? It doesn’t make sense for Jordan to pick up the phone and call up Ainge to play golf. If Ainge indeed was the one that called him, Jordan said yes? Granted he scored 63 points in game 2 but that is not the point. You can play golf after the season. What happened before game 3? Did Jordan and Ainge have a blast riding the swan boat together at the Boston Common? Did they have fun riding on the duck boats and took pictures of Boston Landmarks? What happened before game 4 in Chicago? Did Jordan take Ainge out to Chuck E. Cheese and challenged him to Pop-a-shot basketball? I have just lost 1% of my respect for Jordan.
