The mayor of Las Vegas is clueless and one wonders how did she become the mayor of Sin City. During an interview with Anderson Cooper, he showed her a diagram of how the virus spreads. She replied by saying “this isn’t China, this is Las Vegas Nevada”. Seriously?? She thinks Las Vegas is going to do a better job preventing the spread of the virus? Alcohol alone will cause the virus to spread like wild fire. You can forget the 6 ft social distancing. People that have too much to drink tend to be “friendlier” and wants to be everyone’s friend. That person alone can infect hundreds of people in a few hours just by being wasted. If you open up Vegas, are there still going to be buffets, shows, clubs, shopping? Whats more ridiculous is that the mayor wants to bring back conventions. How about a convention with more than 150,000 people. Are you going to test every single person that walks in? How many will be infected? Forget about sanitizing public areas. You will not have enough sanitizers or people to constantly wipe down slot machines, table games, door handles, seats etc. There are questions after questions that I don’t think she has answers for. Her whole argument is that she wants to get people back to work at all cost. If Vegas does open up, it will be mass chaos. She will be filing for unemployment as a former mayor of Las Vegas.
