YOUR FIRED! For what? For wanting to spend $2.2 million on lollipops. Madagascar’s education minister has now been fired. She wanted to buy the lollipops so each kid can get 3 because some home remedy for the Coronavirus in her country was just too bitter to drink. Talk about just throwing money around. Madagascar is one of the poorest country in the world so you figure their leaders would spend wisely. Thank god, she didn’t decide to buy each kid an Xbox so they won’t be bored during quarantine. I think the whole country’s budget would have been used up.
I managed a budget once in high school. Seniors would contribute $10 a week at the beginning of the school year and we would pool together the money. Right before graduation we all would go to some nice restaurant for a great meal. When the time came I surprise them all and reserved a big table at a fancy steak restaurant in Boston. It was time we feast like Kings and Queens I announced!! I went to the manager and I said give me all the lobster and steak we can get for this amount. Long story short, we couldn’t really afford going there. We ended up eating like peasants and was still starving. We decided to go McDonald’s afterwards where we really ate like Kings and Queens!
